#capturingtheday – Week 7 Roundup
A fairly short and sweet roundup from me this week as I’m on Holibobs on the Isle of Skye and WiFi is harder to come by than the truth is coming out of Donald Trump’s mouth during a US presidential election head to head.
(Sidenote: he’s a cockwomble)
The sun is shining for us here today and, after yesterday’s 15 hour journey up here, we are taking things easy by going for a walk to the beach and then for a spot of food shopping – rock and roll eh?!
Here are a couple of snaps from yesterday…
Week 7 – My top 4
So, onto my 4 faves for this week.
I’ve gone for photos of little ones this week. They’re all gorgeous snaps and I loved the cheekiness in them, as well as the colours.
A little girl peeking over the top of a sand dune next to a STUNNING beach hut, a drawing wall with a very creative little Super-girl having a go on it, a cheeky little chap playing and a lad playing in the woods with a gorgeous shadow being cast on a tree. He looks like a mini Harry Potter.
Thanks so much to each and every one of you for joining in with #capturingtheday on Instagram – keep ’em coming!!!

Yvonne, my partner in crime and writer over at Double the Monkey Business has gone for a slightly spooky autumnal vibe this week. They’re truly beautiful photos…

Do spread the word and join in again this week!
All photos are welcome.
Baking, crafts, days out, sunsets, tantrums, rain, rainbows, poonamis. well earned nights out for the parents, whatever it is you’ve captured during the week.
To finish, here is my favourite photo of the week by my lovely friend Yvonne over at Double the Monkey Business…
A gorgeous capture of a fleeting moment of affection between her little twin lads.
See you all next week for our week 5 roundup!
