#capturingtheday – Week 4 Roundup

#capturingtheday week 4 roundup header

The end of another week, another Sunday here again which can only mean one thing…

No, not Bacon sandwiches and cups of tea! It’s time for our Instagram community #capturingtheday roundup of course!

(How could you all forget?!)

My week has been an odd one. Mr Knutts has been very busy with work and the kids school lives are beginning to get busier by the week. Stuff to remember, little time to stop and gather my thoughts and sadly, still no alcohol due to Dry September. This, however, came to an end last night and I had my first tipple in over 4 weeks. It was much needed and, to be honest, I could have had another…and another, but with the toddler not understanding how Sunday’s work yet (i.e; DO NOT GET UP AT 6am YOU LITTLE TURNIP!) I thought it best to stop at one…for now 😉

Thanks again to all who joined in this week. We now have 600 images in our little community and they are all glorious! It is truly getting harder and harder to choose just 4 photos! This week, we had images shared showing everything from tantrums, to smiles, to baking, to autumn days out. Remember, any photos are welcome, we just want you to share with us what has happened during your day!

So, here are my 4 featured images for this week for #capturingtheday

I’ve gone for an autumnal selection now October is here…

A gorgeously happy little chap running through the leaves in the woods, a glut of shiny, delicious apples, some spectacular homemade jam and a little girl, sat in some crunch leaves, in the autumn shade of some trees, gazing up in wonder.

Yvonne over at Double the Monkey Business has chosen 4 stunners as well. We were so lucky to have so many wonderful photos to choose from!

Congratulations to all of you and thanks again to everyone who linked up.

Do spread the word and join in again this week!

All photos are welcome.

Baking, crafts, days out, sunsets, tantrums, rain, rainbows, poonamis. well earned nights out for the parents, whatever it is you’ve captured during the week.

To finish, here is my favourite photo of the week by my lovely friend Yvonne over at Double the Monkey Business

It’s a happy capture of her twin boys having a ride on a little roundabout in their local park. Full of joy and wonder.

It sums up childhood for me.

Happy, carefree and enjoying the simple things in life with someone you care about. We could all benefit with taking a thing or two from these kids you know, and apply it to our own lives…minus the tantrums about trivialities, obviously!

You can find Yvonne on Instagram, here.

You can read her blog, here.

See you all next week for our week 5 roundup!
