Week 3 of our Instagram community linkup called, #capturingtheday is here!
Madness, yet again.
It only feels like it was Sunday 7 days ago… (there’s a joke in there somewhere)
I am off out today with the famalam for the middle ones 7th birthday. We are embarking on a 2.5 hour car journey so wish us luck. I’m sure there will be a blog post (or 5) in it at least if it all goes titties up.
The weather this week certainly took an autumnal turn and whilst Yvonne’s photo choices reflect this change in the seasons, mine are very much still capturing (i.e; clinging on for dear life to) those last few days of summer.
We had so many wonderful photos again this week and we are super excited that we have over 365 images now. All thanks to you guys! So, if you take a snap, regardless of what it is, share it with us over at #capturingtheday for your chance to be featured next week!
So, without further ado, here are my 4 featured images for this weeks #capturingtheday
A cheeky monkey who was asked to smile for a photo but couldn’t quite manage it (she’s super cute still!), siblings together which shows a little sister who is clearly besotted with her big brother, a dad on holiday and out for a sunny walk on the beach with his firstborn (he just so happens to be a friend too! Happy holidays Karen & Billy – it’s a fab photo Karen!) and two mischievous siblings who have the cutest plotting faces…

Yvonne over at Double the Monkey Business has chosen 4 stunners as well. We were so lucky to have so many wonderful photos to choose from!

A special mention…
As an extra special treat, I have decided to include an extra photo just because I was desperate to share it with you all.
My lovely blogging friend, Tracy, who writes over at The Culinary Jumble, has had a recipe of hers go a bit bonkers this week and I just had to share it with you all and tell her how proud we are of her. She is an extremely talented baker/cook/writer and we are over the moon her.
Remember to give me a signed copy of your cookbook once you get your book deal Tracy, eh?! 😉
Congratulations to all of you and thanks again to everyone who linked up.
Do spread the word and join in again this week!
All photos are welcome. Baking, crafts, days out, sunsets, tantrums, well earned nights out for the parents, whatever it is you’ve captured during the week – and you don’t have to be a blogger to join in! Just pop Instagram on your phone and snap away! (I love the filters, they’re very forgiving, even on my face).
To finish, here is my favourite photo by my partner in crime for #capturingtheday, Yvonne over at Double the Monkey Business…
I loved this photo of one of Yvonne’s twin boys.
I think he’s looking at his reflection in the metal tunnel – Yvonne’s boys are real thinkers. She has a real talent for catching them ‘mid-thought’.
See you all next week for our week 4 roundup!
